Documentary about architects to debut at Las Vegas Market

"Bob and Denise," a documentary about authors and architects Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown, will debut during the Las Vegas Market as part of the biannual event's design series.

Venturi and Brown wrote "Learning from Las Vegas," which was one of the most influential architectural books of its time when it was published in 1972.

Their son, Jim Venturi, created the documentary about their lives and the impact of their book. A preview of the unreleased film will be screened for the first time in Las Vegas, along with "Saving Lieb House," a short documentary also by Jim Venturi, Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in room C352 at the Las Vegas Design Center, 495 S. Grand Central Parkway.

A meet and greet reception with Jim Venturi will follow the screening.

There is no charge to attend, but reservations are requested. Those planning to attend should RSVP to events@lasvegasmarket.com to ensure a seat.
