Ruth’s Chris Steak House to replace The Range at Harrah’s Las Vegas

Ruth's Chris Steak House has found a home on the Strip. The upscale restaurant chain will open early next year at Harrah's Las Vegas, replacing the casino's The Range steak house.

The Range will close Nov. 11.

The steak house will be on the second floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the Strip, the company said Monday. It will seat 400 and have two private dining rooms.

Financial terms or possible layoffs were not disclosed. This is the third partnership between Ruth's Hospitality Group Inc., parent company of Ruth's Chris, and Harrah's, which is a subsidiary of Las Vegas-based Caesars Entertainment Corp.

The two other Ruth's Chris Steak Houses are in Harrah's New Orleans and Harrah's Cherokee in North Carolina. This is also the first Ruth's Chris to open in Las Vegas since October 2011, when a franchisee-owned outlet near the intersection of Flamingo and Paradise roads was closed.
