STEVE WYNN BANS PARIS HILTON FROM HIS PROPERTIES; FIRES WAITS
September 1, 2010 - 10:16 am
Las Vegas hotel developer Steve Wynn has banned party girl Paris Hilton from Wynn Las Vegas and Encore properties days after her cocaine possession arrest outside his resorts last week, Vegas Confidential learned today.
A Wynn rep confirmed the Hilton ban. Wynn announced that Hilton's boyfriend, Cy Waits, has been "separated from the company and is free to pursue other interests."
Waits' twin brother, Jesse, continues as general partner of Tryst and XS nightclubs, a job he was sharing with his brother since last week when Wynn bought out Victor Drai as his nightclub partner.
Cy Waits, 34, and Hilton, 29, were arrested shortly after leaving Wynn's properties late Friday when a motorcycle cop pulled them over smelling marijuana.
Vegas Confidential has also learned Hilton will be going before Justice Court Judge Joe M. Bonaventure Jr. for her hearing on Oct. 27. Bonaventure handled the arraignment and preliminary hearing for O.J. Simpson in 2007. Bonaventure's father, Joseph T. Bonaventure, preceded over the Ted Binion murder trial in 2000.
