Comedian Rob Riggle meet-and-greet at Lee’s Liquor Saturday

Rob Riggle, the comedian and former “Daily Show” correspondent, will do a meet-and-greet from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at a nontraditional celebrity hangout: Lee’s Discount Liquor, 4230 S. Rainbow Blvd.

But maybe you already know that from the billboards around town.

He’s not alone in this liquor store venture.

A week later, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 29, you can go to that same Lee’s Liquor for a meet-and-greet with George Lopez.

Strange, but I like it. I wonder if weed dispensaries will do meet-and-greets, too. I would imagine famous weed comic Doug Benson would approve of that.

FYI, Riggle, a retired Marine who appears on Fox’s NFL shows, is also doing a red carpet at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Lagasse’s Stadium in the Palazzo.
