After being dredged in flour, the pickles are dipped in malt-liquor-infused tempura batter, fried and sprinkled with signature seasoned salt, $6.95.

Firestone-fried pickles

Double Barrel Roadhouse, Monte Carlo

Bread-and-butter pickles fried with a Firestone-ale batter are tossed with signature spices and served with a spicy chipotle dipping sauce, $9, or $4 during happy hour.

Carolina BBQ Pulled Pork

Coronado Cafe, South Point

House-smoked pork is mixed with barbecue sauce, piled high with cole slaw on a soft potato-flour roll and served with crisp pickle chips, $9.45.

Salty crunchy pickles

Cafe 6, Palms

The pickles, one of the restaurant's most popular appetizers, are served with sriracha mayo, barbecue sauce and lemon-herb aioli, $6.95.
