Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf wants us to chill

OK, this coffee isn’t free, but at least it’s cheap — and it’s a great way to add a little bit of cool to a day that’s forecast to reach a high of 111 degrees.
Participating locations of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, in celebration of the company’s 1,000th store, are offering $2 small ice blended drinks from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, one per customer.
Flavors include mocha, vanilla, caramel, white chocolate, dark chocolate, hazelnut and Black Forest.
