McFadden’s is year-round hot spot for fans of Irish fun

At McFadden’s Restaurant & Saloon, everyone is Irish.

The pub at Town Square Las Vegas celebrates shamrocks and shenanigans year-round with its Irish-American fare, drinks and atmosphere. A St. Patrick’s Day celebration is set to run from 11 a.m. March 17 to 3 a.m. March 18 with food and drink specials, contests, tournaments, live entertainment and more.

Previously located at the Rio, the restaurant at 6593 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Suite 222, replaced the Ranch House Kitchen in 2013. The 12,500-square-foot space includes tables, a bar and a dance floor with an additional 6,000-square-foot outdoor patio.

Appetizers include mozzarella sticks, loaded potato skins and the pub’s famous Irish Nachos (tater tots, white cheese sauce, bacon, sour cream and green onion). McFadden’s also brands its own poutine (steak fries, brown gravy, cheese and jalapenos), but it’s best to leave the dish to the Canadians.

Irish-inspired entrees include corned beef and cabbage with boiled potatoes; steak and mushroom pie with stout gravy, potatoes, seasoned vegetables and puff pastry; and shepherd’s pie (steak, vegetables and mashed potatoes). Wings, salads, burgers, pizzas and sandwiches are also available. Most meals range from $10 to $16.

The pub is family-friendly and offers a kids’ menu of cheeseburgers, mac and cheese, chicken tenders and grilled cheese. Each meal comes with a choice of apple sauce, fries or vegetables for $6 to $8.

McFadden’s is open from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. Friday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday. Happy hour is from 4 to 7 p.m. on weekdays.
