Las Vegas has plenty of Chinese restaurants to choose from, but when it comes to infusing Chinese and Thai cuisine, one stands out above the rest. Asian Wok recently opened in Centennial Hills and offers a variety of international dishes and drinks. Patrons can choose from vegetable, chicken, seafood, beef and pork dishes, with specials including roast duck ($12.95), sesame beef ($10.50), salt and pepper pork chop ($9.95), Kung Pao Triple Delight ($11.95) and Volcano Shrimp ($12.95). Those looking for a healthier option can look to the Healthy Delight menu, which features chicken, shrimp and steamed tofu with mixed vegetables and Oriental Vegetable Delight for $8.25. Among the soups are chicken corn, hot and sour, wonton, wor wonton, vegetable tofu and seafood, ranging from $2.50 for a small order to $7.95. Fried rice and chow mein start at $6.95 and are served with beef, chicken, vegetables, shrimp or combination. Lunch specials are served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, and family dinner specials are $27.95 for option A and $29.95 for option B, which comes with vegetable egg rolls, crab Rangoon and fried shrimp with a choice of soup and rice. The Mongolian beef has a kick of spiciness and is sauteed. The orange chicken came with pieces of broccoli and has a crunchy layer of sweetness. Customers craving Thai food can choose from the Thai salad ($7.95 to $8.95) with steamed rice, pineapple fried rice ($8.95 to $10.95) and tom yum soup ($8.95 to $9.95). Curries start at $8.95 and include yellow, green, red and panang with a choice of chicken, pork, tofu, beef or shrimp. To help gulp down all of those flavors, there are sodas, ice tea, Thai ice tea, boba milk tea or boba Thai tea, smoothies and apple juice for less than $4. Kids’ meals start at $5.95 and include choices of chicken fingers, fried shrimp and sweet and sour chicken. Delivery and catering are available.
