Fox’s ‘MasterChef’ auditions coming to Vegas

Bring your favorite prepared dish and a thick skin: The “MasterChef” audition team is coming to town.

Anyone who’s never worked as a professional chef and will be at least 18 by Jan. 1 can audition for the Fox cooking show between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 22 at Alexis Park, 375 E. Harmon Ave.

“MasterChef,” with judges Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot and Christina Tosi, is entering its seventh season.

Aspiring contestants must bring one prepared dish that can be plated in three minutes without a kitchen to cook it or warm it up.

Applicants must be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the U.S., and their main source of income cannot come from preparing and cooking fresh food in a professional environment.
