Grand Theft Auto V is out on PC, but many gamers can’t play it

Grand Theft Auto V finally hit PC and gamers have already had some issues — a major glitch generated by usernames.

Game developers and players alike have discovered that special characters within Windows usernames keep select buyers from updating and installing the game, Digital Trends reports.

“We have identified an issue where players with Windows usernames that include characters not found in the table at the bottom of this page will likely run into difficulties when attempting to download, install, or play GTAV,” a game support page reads. “We are currently working on a fix for this issue.”

So, if you have a username with characters outside the English alphabet or numbers 0-9, you might have to hold tight, because the support staff has not released an ETA for the bug fix.
