Hard Rock offering special free play through May

Through the end of the month, all Rockstar Club members at the Hard Rock Hotel will receive $50 in free play for every 3,750 points ($3,750 coin-in on slots, $7,500-$22,500 coin-in on video poker) earned since Tuesday. No point redemption is required, so at a later time (or the same day if you like) you still can redeem your points for additional free play at a rate of 5,000 points for $10.

On Sunday, Cannery players earning 299 players club points ($299 coin-in; no point redemption necessary) can pick up a USA logo hat. On Tuesday and Thursday, Rampart players earning 150 points ($300 coin-in on slots, $600 coin-in on video poker) will receive a multi-tool set. There is a limit of one gift per day.

The Silverton is running a ladies-only poker tournament every Friday at 9 p.m. A $37 buy-in is required.

As usual with three-day holiday weekends, several casinos are offering bonus points (see below) as well as various bingo giveaways. Fiesta Henderson is giving away a special flag set on Sunday. On Monday, Fiesta Rancho is giving away car window flags, Sunset Station is giving away tote bags and Terrible's is celebrating by giving away patriotic tote bags. Memorial Day bingo players can pick up a free dauber at the Poker Palace and a special T-shirt at Sam's Town. All gifts require a minimum $3-$4 buy-in and are only available while supplies last.

There is other bingo news. Every day through the end of the month, Arizona Charlie's Decatur is offering three $1,000 coveralls at both the 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. sessions. Boulder Station also is offering $1,000 coveralls at the 1 p.m. session on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Also through May 31, Red Rock Resort bingo players purchasing four-to-10 games get an additional two-to-five games for free.

Every day from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., the Rio is offering free poker lessons on a unique teaching table especially for beginners. The table has a specially-designed felt that highlights key elements of live poker. Participants play with tournament-style chips and special teaching dealers will guide students step-by-step through the game.
