Bad news, “Honey Boo Boo” fans — Mama June Shannon and Sugar Bear Thompson have broken up.

“Sugar Bear and I have decided to take some time apart to figure out some things in our relationship,” the couple said in a statement, according to E! Online. “We are taking things day by day, but regardless of what happens, the girls will always be our number one priority. We want to thank y’all for your support.”

The two exchanged vows earlier this year in May, but were not technically married.

Mama June first gained celebrity on TLC’s “Toddler’s & Tiaras,” starring her daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson. The little girl was so popular that the network decided to give her and her family their own spin off, “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”
