How to get wed onstage in Vegas by Margaret Cho

Comedian Margaret Cho will officiate an LGBTQ wedding onstage when she does stand-up Oct. 16 at Treasure Island hotel.

"I'll be marrying a couple at the show — a gay couple. I've been working on marriage equality since 2004, so it'll be a wonderfully celebratory thing to do," Cho told me Friday.

Long ago, then-San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom deputized Cho to marry people in City Hall.

"I basically had Kim Davis' job, but I actually did the job, unlike Kim Davis," she said of the prejudiced Kentucky marriage clerk who discriminates against human beings as if they're god's garbage.

If you want to be Cho's couple onstage, apply by sending her a 15-second video via Twitter (@margaretcho) with the hashtag #MarryMeMargaret.
