The story: Campaigning for the U.S. Senate, a scrappy New York politician finds himself mysteriously drawn to a captivating dancer, but every time they seem destined to connect, mysterious forces conspire to keep them apart.

The buzz: Nolfi makes his directorial debut after co-scripting past Damon hits "The Bourne Ultimatum" and "Ocean's Twelve." This time, he's adapting a short story by Philip K. Dick, whose tales have inspired such memorable cinematic mind-benders as "Blade Runner," "Minority Report" and "Total Recall."
