Catch some reggae vibrations with Snoop Lion
May 23, 2013 - 4:25 pm
Everyone loves Snoop Dogg even if they didn’t love his rap, which may help explain why he copped a Rasta vibe and became “Reincarnated” now as Snoop Lion.
By any name, catching some reggae vibrations on Mandalay Bay’s outdoor beach stage smells like a fun way to spend a Memorial Day weekend night.
“Reincarnated” is an eclectic work reflecting both the Lion’s broad appeal — there’s a Miley Cyrus guest appearance and a song called “The Good Good” by adult-contemporary songwriter Dianne Warren — and his limited interests: “Smoke the Weed” is a clue to where his main interest lies.
