Diplo, CL, RiFF RAFF and OG Maco film “Doctor Pepper” video in Las Vegas
So it looks like Diplo, CL, RiFF RAFF and OG Maco have gotten around to filming a video for “Doctor Pepper,” the mercury hot new track they dropped last month. They shot the clip here in Vegas a few days ago, apparently.
While we have literally no idea what to expect — I mean the doggone thing pretty much sucker punched us out of nowhere — if the clip turns out to be on par with the song, it’s going to be bananas.
If you haven’t heard the track yet, we should probably warn you before you give it a listen: You might want to go ahead and take a moment right now to clear some space in your hippocampus and back up any important memories might have stored up there, because once you press play, that’s it; you’re committed, and there’s no turning back.
From the very first tongue clucks, “Doctor Pepper” will literally munch through any used data up there like Inky, Pinky, Blinky and Clyde and then overwrite as it sees fit, thanks to K-pop star CL’s mesmerizing contributions. Although the lyrics aren’t quite as inane as “Turn Down for What,” the cut will seize you and stay with you in a simlar fashion. Even Dr. Pepper itself be tweeting about chilling it in the freezer.
Well, have at it, but don’t say you weren’t warned. Oh, and we should probably add: It is also mildly NSFW.
