Stratosphere will be renting ‘Rock in Rio’ parking spots

Well, this will help offset the crazy amount of traffic headed to “Rock in Rio:” The Stratosphere just told me the hotel will rent up to 2,000 public, first-come, first-serve parking spots available in the garage and in overflow lots, for $30 per day, with no in-and-out privileges.
That means we still need parking places for, oh, some other 83,000 concert people. (Just kidding, most of them will walk quite a ways from hotels and shuttle and monorail drop-off points, as there is no parking at the concert site.)
As I reminded you the other day, the music festival takes place at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara Avenue May 8-9 and May 15-16, featuring Taylor Swift, John Legend, Deftones, Metallica, Mana, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Linkin Park, No Doubt, the Pretty Reckless, Sepultura, Bruno Mars, and Joss Stone.
I imagine some young females may convince their boyfriends to carry them piggyback, because boys do the craziest things for girls at music festivals, and girls do the craziest things back.
