Taylor Swift surprises fans with US women’s soccer team

Taylor Swift had another of her concert surprises Friday night when she brought the World Cup champions on stage.

The U.S. women’s soccer team joined Swift during her concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. While Swift sang “Style,” the team came dancing onstage, holding the World Cup trophy high and waving an American flag.

The team has been making the rounds since their victory at the World Cup. Also on Friday they were feted with a ticker-tape parade in New York City — a first for a women’s sports team.

Swift briefly grabbed the trophy, gave it a kiss and raised it above her head. As the team left the stage, the crowd chanted, “USA! USA!”
