ENTERTAINMENT SOCIAL MEDIA PRODUCER MMJ
Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world. We are looking for the right person to serve as a social media MMJ for Las Vegas Review-Journal entertainment content.
As an MMJ, you will shoot and edit highly stylized video content for our website and social media platforms. The MMJ must also be capable of writing, posting, editorial content for the website.
Candidates must have three years’ experience and excel in storytelling, multimedia production, and audience engagement. The role requires adherence to AP writing standards, meeting tight deadlines, and collaborating effectively with entertainment team members and the entertainment community. It will also serve as a video producer in support of entertainment reporters.
This position requires the ability to operate LiveU technology and properly set up lighting and studio set backdrops for live and taped productions, as well as the ability to record, edit, and upload podcasts as designated.
Working hours may include days, nights, weekends, holidays.
Standards of Performance:
• Create daily, breaking, and weekly news segments for various platforms.
• Gathering editorial information via phone, internet, working with Review-Journal news staff, as well as on-location assignments.
• Preparing studio and on location assignments for live and taped video programming.
• Creating video packages and preparing information for live reports as required.
• Delivers video programming that meets or exceeds production values, ensures commercial breaks and sponsorships are delivered inside programs.
• Ability to make quick decisions without losing composure.
• Ensure content deadlines are met.
• Check all videos for accuracy, following Review-Journal editorial standards.
• Edit and upload all content to various platforms including but not limited to STN, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X using appropriate software.
• Create graphics to be used within video programming.
• Keep abreast of national and local entertainment news and social content.
• Produce and curate daily content uploads in a variety of content management systems.
• Work collaboratively with all members of the newsroom and other departments as required.
Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Social media or news experience, ability to learn digital analytics, applying best business practices.
• News writing following AP and Review-Journal standards.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a live video environment.
• Ability to work as a team player in the newsroom and build news contacts in the community.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule for breaking news and special content opportunities.
• Write, edit, direct editing of video with speed, efficiency and creativity in-studio, newsroom, or field environment.
• Proofread scripts, captions and graphics for spelling, AP style, grammar and accuracy.
• Institutional knowledge of the Las Vegas Valley, newsmakers and recent local history is preferred.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal print division is growing at a significant rate. We are currently looking for press operators that are capable of performing multiple duties on a GOSS Newsliner double wide press.
We are looking for skilled individuals with print backgrounds but will certainly consider others for training. The qualified applicant will have a strong mechanical aptitude, ability to work in a team environment, make quality decisions and possess good communication skills.
While our primary responsibility is to print the daily newspaper, our commercial work is growing at a rapid rate and becoming a critical part of the operation.
Requirements/Skills
• Knowledge of newspaper printing and commercial printing
• Solid understanding of print reproduction and print quality
• Able to work in a fast paced, TEAM environment

Senior Account Executive
The Las Vegas Review-Journal is seeking an experienced, detail oriented Senior Account Executive.
This position is responsible for:
• maintaining and growing national and regional multimedia advertising and sponsorship account revenue
• identifying and closing opportunities to add products/services to grow and maximize spend from existing clients
• targeting and closing new, large-scale national and regional multimedia advertising and sponsorship clients based outside the local market
• building and sustaining strong client relationships
• ensuring accurate, timely internal and external communication
• ensuring exceptional client satisfaction
• meeting/exceeding assigned sales revenue goals
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, similar field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in advertising sales working predominantly with large-scale advertisers (spend greater than $25,000 annually) and a proven track record of goal attainment.
• Digital marketing and/or advertising experience required.
• Experience using sales CRM required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• Experience working with large-scale national and/or regional advertising accounts preferred.
Knowledge of competitive media and the Las Vegas market is a plus. Reliable & insured transportation required.
