Great American Foodie Fest shifts to Henderson

The Great American Foodie Fest moves to Henderson this fall, running from Oct. 14 to 18 at Sunset Station, 1301 W. Sunset Road. Some 50 food trucks and other vendors will participate, including Fukuburger, Cousin's Maine Lobster and Fist of Fusion. Hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Oct. 14, 5 to 11 p.m. Oct. 16, noon to 11 p.m. Oct. 17 and noon to 10 p.m. Oct. 18. Advance tickets, at $8 for the four days, are available at www.greatamericanfoodiefest.com. Admission at the gate is $10 for the four days, or $8 for veterans and active-duty members of the military, Clark County first responders and seniors 59 and older. ...

It's lobster time again at Christ Church Episcopal, which will host its 45th annual Lobster Fair on Oct. 24 at the church at 2000 S. Maryland Parkway.
