Las Vegas wedding chapels vow memorable experience — PHOTOS

While noting Elvis Presley's popular song "Burning Love," impersonator Harry Shahoian officiated at a recent ceremony for a Brazilian couple renewing their wedding vows at Graceland Wedding Chapel.

The play of lyrics of famous Elvis songs added to the moment for the couple's 25-year anniversary renewal.

"If you promise to be my teddy bear, I promise to be your hunk a hunk of burning love," Shahoian said.

"The cool part of doing what I do is you get to see the fun they are having with each other, and they almost remind each other why they got married in the first place," Shahoian said.

According to chapel general manager Brandon Reed, roughly half of the ceremonies that take place at the chapel involve Elvis.

A couple of miles from Graceland is Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, where nearly 30 theme weddings are offered, from a "Gothic" theme, complete with cemetery scene, to the "Wassup Pussycat," complete with a Tom Jones impersonator.

At A Little White Wedding Chapel a couple of blocks from Viva Las Vegas, couples can say their vows in the back seat of a pink Cadillac inside the Drive-Thru Tunnel of Vows.

With a bit of Old World charm, Chinese nationals Jiyi Tian and Xinwen Xu exchanged wedding vows while riding in a white gondola along the Grand Canal at The Venetian. They met at the University of Florida as students and wanted to get married during the beginning of Chinese New Year.

Nationally, marriages are trending downward, but in Las Vegas, recent figures comparing 2014 to 2015 have seen an increase of 1.8 percent, from 79,034 to 80,465.
