Veer Towers at CityCenter on Strip report surge in sales

According to a recent Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors report, the total number of condominium closings rose in July from a year earlier and prices jumped nearly 38 percent.

Veer Towers sales representatives said their increased sales have contributed to the boost.

Because of its location, new pricing, financing and special programs, sales agents said 13 units were sold in July and more than 70 have sold since Pordes Residential Sales and Marketing began representing the residences in February.

Veer Towers, which is in the heart of the CityCenter on the Strip, is a $9 billion development.

Buyers are steps away from entertainment, dining and shopping at Aria, Vdara, Mandarin Oriental, Crystals at CityCenter and Gallery Row Shops.

“You can go from a fine dinner to a Cirque du Soleil performance to a hot nightclub, all without getting in your car,” said Jim Navarro, vice president of sales for Veer Towers. “And getting back to your condo is simple and fast, because your private tower entrance is right there.”

At home, owners can relax at the rooftop entertainment areas in each tower that include an infinity-edge swimming pool, hot tub, sun deck and summer kitchen. There are views of the Strip from the condos as well as the fitness center, billiard rooms and lounges on the top floor. A private residential driveway leads to separate vehicle entrances, secured elevators and valet service, all monitored by 24-hour security.

New designs in the lobbies have just been completed and improvements are in the process of being made to the rooftop pool areas, which should be complete in October.

“Buyers also like the wide selection, which ranges from studios to three-bedroom residences,” Navarro said. “There’s plenty of room to roam. Units vary in size from 537 square feet to over 2,200 square feet. And with the ease of our ‘fully furnished for sale’ program, buyers can purchase a unit one day and move in the next.”

Under the special program, units come decorated by Tui Lifestyle, which is known for its high style, fully decorated room settings that feature luxury furniture and decorative accessories.

Others are furnished by Lee Bryan Interior Design, which also specializes in contemporary luxury designs. Together, the two firms have created 12 fully furnished and stocked homes.

In each unit, every detail is cared for, from furnishings to paper towels, toiletries and water stocked in the fridge, Navarro said.

“It is a white glove experience that allows buyers to sign their contracts and move in without the hassle of having to decorate or stock their condos,” he said.

“People are pleased with the prices, which reflect today’s market,” said Mark Pordes, CEO of Pordes Residential. “They have come down tremendously from the market peak, making luxury more affordable.”

Prices at Veer Towers range from $250,000 to $2 million. Multiple lenders have approved the project and offer financing for first- and second-home buyers and for international buyers.

“You choose your residence and get started right away on a loan application,” Pordes said. “You’re quickly on your way to enjoying the lifestyle that makes Veer Towers a destination.”
