Las Vegas police had few details Tuesday about a body found in the desert in the southwest valley.

Officers were called at 10:39 a.m. to the intersection of Blue Diamond Road and South Buffalo Drive, according to police spokeswoman Laura Meltzer.

Detectives are investigating, Meltzer said. The identity of the body will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s office.
