Teriyaki Boy Healthy Grill
4441 E. Bonanza Road at North Lamb Boulevard, 702-453-1111
Teriyaki Boy is a healthy grill because everything is grilled, including appetizers. And to make it even healthier, all vegetables are steamed. The Japanese-Chinese fusion menu has a large selection of salads such as Oriental chicken (all white meat), Oriental steak, Asian sesame salmon, Oriental mahi mahi with cucumbers and wonton strips, and Asian sesame shrimp with cucumbers, snap peas, julienne carrots and yakisoba noodles. Among the yakisoba bowls with crisp vegetables are chicken, salmon, shrimp, steak and veggie. Popular teriyaki bowls, served over a choice of rice with vegetables and house teriyaki sauce, include veggie, steak, tofu nugget, salmon, chicken, shrimp and baked tofu. Teriyaki wraps (chicken, mahi mahi, veggie, steak, prawn) are wrapped in a 12-inch whole wheat tortilla with a choice of rice and fresh-cut vegetables. Other bowls are low-carb chicken, Mongolian chicken, sweet and sour shrimp, Kung Pao steak, Mongolian beef, sweet chili chicken, sesame orange chicken and chicken and broccoli. Several appetizers are egg roll, crab puffs, edamame, pot stickers and tofu nuggets. Two tasty beverages are China Mist iced tea and boba smoothie. The daily special is a teriyaki chicken bowl for $2.99. Salads start at $5.95. Teriyaki Boy is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
