Man killed in gas station shooting Thursday identified

The man shot and killed at a gas station Thursday has been identified by the office of the Clark County coroner.
Steven Wayne Spurlin, 27-year-old Las Vegas resident, was shot and killed Thursday afternoon outside of a Chevron gas station near the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Westcliff Drive. Police responding to reports of gunshots found Spurlin dead on the scene. The shots may have been fired from a vehicle, according to witnesses on the scene.
Spurlin's death was ruled a homicide by the Clark County coroner's office.
No arrests have been made in connection with this case.
