McDonald’s fire causes estimated $200,000 damage

Authorities were battling a two-alarm fire on the roof of a McDonald's restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip.

Clark County firefighters responded to the fire at 3999 Las Vegas Blvd. South about 9:40 a.m. Monday. The restaurant is located in a mall across from Mandalay Bay.

Firefighters had the blaze under control by 10:15 a.m.

It's unclear whether the fire spread inside the restaurant or isolated to the roof of the building.
