Man critical after stabbing at Laughlin Super Bowl party

A person who was stabbed Sunday night during a Super Bowl party in Laughlin was in critical condition, but expected to survive, according to Las Vegas police.

Metro resident officers in Laughlin responded to an RV park at 1650 S. Casino Dr. about 8:40 p.m., Metro Lt. Dave Valenta said.

A male whose age was not immediately available was stabbed by a “drunk male” at a Super Bowl party, Valenta said.

The person who was stabbed was taken to University Medical Center via flight with critical injuries. He was “expected to live at this time,” Valenta said.

A person was in custody, Valenta said, and Metro officers remained on the scene late Sunday night.
