FOUR DIE IN US93 TWO VEHICLE CRASH

Four people were killed Monday in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 93, just north of Kingman, Ariz., according to the Arizona Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at 5:15 a.m., about 28 miles south of Hoover Dam. A Toyota carrying five passengers was northbound on U.S. 93 when it rolled over, crossed the median and collided with a gold Pontiac with two passengers, said Lt. James Warriner, spokesman for the highway patrol.

The three surviving crash victims were airlifted to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Their conditions were not released Monday.

Traffic was snarled for hours after the wreck as southbound U.S. 93 was closed until noon.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
