LeAnn Rimes coming to Harrah’s Laughlin on Saturday

Harrah's Laughlin continues to set the bar high for first-class entertainment. On Saturday, the resort brings popular country music songstress LeAnn Rimes to the Rio Vista Outdoor Amphitheater, followed by "Reflections of Michael: The Man in the Mirror," featuring musical impressionist Michael Firestone, at the indoor Fiesta Showroom June 9-13.

LeAnn Rimes, one of country music's leading female artists, rose to fame at the young age of 13 with her breakthrough 1996 hit "Blue." In 1997, Rimes was awarded a Grammy for Best New Artist, Best Country Song and Best Female Country Performance as well as the CMA Horizon Award and AMA's Favorite New Artist.

In 2008, Rimes and Jon Bon Jovi received the CMT Collaborative Video of the Year award for "Til We Ain't Strangers Anymore." She made her film debut with a cameo appearance in "Coyote Ugly" in which she also lent her singing voice for Piper Perabo's character. This multi-award-winning artist's hits include "How Do I Live," "I Need You," "Nothin' 'Bout Love Makes Sense," "Can't Fight the Moonlight" and "Probably Wouldn't Be This Way."

Rimes' performance begins at 9 p.m. Saturday and tickets start at $35 plus tax and fees. Pre- and after-concert parties are scheduled featuring live music, drink specials and prize drawings.

Immediately after the outdoor concert performance, the resort will host the Bud Light Guitar Drawing in the nonsmoking casino. One winner will receive an artist-autographed Bud Light guitar or other musical instrument and a second winner will receive $200 cash and an artist-autographed poster or postcard. Guests receive one drawing ticket with each concert ticket purchased.

"Reflections of Michael: The Man in the Mirror," a live tribute to legendary music artist Michael Jackson, performs in the Fiesta Showroom featuring an incredible performance by musical impressionist Michael Firestone. Firestone takes the audience through a journey of hits recorded by the late King of Pop.

He is joined on stage by talented musicians, dancers and backup singers. Firestone's song list includes Jackson hits such as "Black or White," "PYT," "This Is It," "Bad," "Billie Jean," "Thriller," as well as a Jackson Five medley. The Rome, N.Y., native has performed as a Jackson tribute artist for live shows such as "MTV Magic" and "Around the World" as well as other shows across the United States and Asia. "Reflections of Michael: The Man in the Mirror" performs at 8 p.m. nightly June 9-13 and tickets start at $25 plus tax and fees.

In addition, other artists headed to stages at Harrah's Laughlin are: Gary Allan (Sept. 11), Willie Nelson (Sept. 25) and Al Green (Oct. 23) at the Rio Vista Outdoor Amphitheater; Collin Raye (July 31-Aug. 1), Don McLean (Aug. 28) and Rich Little (Nov. 13-16) in the Fiesta Showroom.
