Model files a lawsuit claiming nonpayment for Internet porn work

Storm clouds could be brewing for a Las Vegas-based Internet pornography firm after one of its star attractions filed a lawsuit Thursday that seeks more than $1 million.

Victoria Torres alleges she was never paid for acting in videos and posing for photographs used in galleries, or compensated for her image she claims was used to attract paying customers to the site.

Torres, known on the Internet as Sasha Storm, first met Martin Adler -- also referred to as Dean Martin in the lawsuit -- in an Internet chat room when he reportedly asked her if she would like to model, the lawsuit says.

Torres agreed to meet at Adler's Sweet Encounters escort service and was told the modeling involved an adult pay-per-view Web site, according to court papers.

That led to a contract signing in September 2005, in which Torres, Martin and Chris Danza, known on the Web as porn actor Dirty Danza, agreed to launch the Web site using Torres' image to draw customers.

The contract also called for Torres to perform in 15 pornographic videos or pose for still photo galleries. In return she would receive 30 percent of the net income.

According to Torres' attorney John R. DaCorsi, his client performed in 11 videos and still photograph galleries after sashastorm.com launched in December 2005. DaCorsi in the lawsuit said the Web site is a money-maker that continues to exist.

Despite its alleged profitability, Torres claims the defendants never paid her any share of money the site earned.

The defendants are Martin and Danza and the Desert Entertainment Group of Las Vegas. A similarly named company that provides stagehands and other production services is not involved.

Attempts to contact Martin and Danza were unsuccessful. An employee of DaCorsi's law firm said he would not discuss the case and a telephone number for Torres was out of service.

Torres, according to court documents, did not retain a copy of the contract and attempts to obtain a copy from Martin have been unsuccessful.
