Death of Lake Havasu City child under investigation

KINGMAN, ARIZ — The death of an infant last week is under investigation in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Police Sgt. Kirk Cesena said officers responded Friday afternoon to a reported drowning in the 1500 block of Neptune Drive.

“Upon arrival they found a 12-month-old male infant unresponsive,” Cesena said. “The infant was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.”

Cesena said a caretaker discovered the infant face down in the bathtub. No further details are available.
