A United Airlines jet slid off a taxiway in Spokane, Washington, early Tuesday while getting ready to fly to Denver, an FAA spokesman said.
Flight 812 was scheduled to depart the Spokane airport around 5:30 a.m. local time Tuesday when the incident occurred, according to United's website.
There were no immediate reports of injuries to passengers or significant damage to the Boeing 737, FAA spokesman Allen Kenitzer said.
Those on board were taken off the plane and bused to a terminal, he added.
It was not clear if weather played any role in the incident. The National Weather Service reported sub-freezing temperatures and mostly cloudy skies in Spokane on Tuesday morning.
Spokane International Airport is the second-largest airport in Washington state.
According to its website, some 3 million passengers flying on six airlines and 64,000 tons of cargo pass through Spokane International Airport each year.
