New restaurants open on the Las Vegas Strip

As the dining scene continues to evolve in Las Vegas, new restaurants open nearly every month, providing unique experiences for repeat visitors. Some of the many new restaurants on the Strip include the following:

Rì Rá Las Vegas brings an authentic Irish atmosphere to the Strip, along with an impressive lineup of live music and fare that defies pub standards at the Shoppes at Mandalay Place. Crafted in the warm pub style of 19th century Ireland, Rì Rá Las Vegas features authentic artifacts carefully restored in Wicklow, Ireland, including an 8-foot-tall, 500-pound carved plaster statue of St. Patrick dating back to 1850. Rì Rá Las Vegas features live entertainment seven nights a week, as well as traditional Irish cuisine.

Steve Wynn and restaurant impresario Michael Morton have opened La Cave Wine and Food Hideaway at Wynn Las Vegas. Inspired by the Latin phrase "in vino veritas" (in wine there is truth), La Cave offers an escape where guests can enjoy global wines and a modern American small plates menu from Executive Chef William DeMarco.

Wynn Las Vegas has also opened Lakeside Grill. Situated on the Lake of Dreams, Executive Chef David Walzog offers modern twists on classic American dishes in a striking and stylish setting. Lakeside Grill is the second restaurant at Wynn helmed by Walzog, who has garnered critical acclaim for his cuisine at SW, the resort's signature steakhouse.

Modern day watering hole P.J. Clarke's opened its first West Coast location at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Established in 1884 in New York, P.J. Clarke's boasts a colorful history that has entertained the famous, the infamous and everyone else who appreciates the ambience and food of a real saloon.

i love burgers, a modern take on the classic American burger joint, is now open inside The Shoppes at The Palazzo. i love burgers sets itself apart from the typical burger experience by providing premium gourmet burgers with creative toppings and sides. Diners can choose from one of the many signature burgers featuring a variety of toppings, including farm-fresh vegetables, smoked meats and an array of cheeses.

Café Nikki has opened at the Tropicana and features breakfast, lunch and dinner including unique signature dishes from Nikki Beach locations across the globe, as well as twists on traditional favorites. Tropicana has also opened Biscayne Steak, Sea & Wine, a new steak and seafood restaurant. The tropical South Beach-style restaurant features prime cuts of beef, Safe Harbor-certified fresh seafood, a 200-bottle wine list and signature cocktails.

And just last month, the Tropicana announced its partnership with acclaimed chef Carla Pellegrino, former co-owner/executive chef of Rao's in Las Vegas, to reinvent Tropicana's onsite Italian ristorante as Bacio by Carla Pellegrino. The Brazilian-born, Italian-raised Pellegrino, best-known by television audiences for beating celebrity chef Bobby Flay on his 2009 "Throwdown!" Christmas special, will spotlight authentic Italian recipes with a focus on fresh and high-quality ingredients

The Sporting House Bar & Grill, Las Vegas' premier destination for year-round sports action, has opened inside New York-New York. With more than 130 video monitors, guests of The Sporting House can count on seeing the game they want to see in an environment built specifically for sports fans. The two-story restaurant and bar features a collaborative menu designed by Ark Restaurant Corp.'s newly hired Executive Chef David Waltuck and Damien McEvoy, Ark's executive chef for the past 14 years in Las Vegas.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has opened several new restaurants including Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill by restaurateurs Bruce and Eric Bromberg; Comme Ça by acclaimed Los Angeles chef David Myers; New York City's Estiatorio Milos by restaurateur Costas Spiliadis; Scarpetta and D.O.C.G. by award-winning chef Scott Conant; Holstein's from Block 16 Hospitality; Jaleo and China Poblano by Chef Jose Andres; and popular steakhouse STK from The One Group.
