Two people die after northwestern Arizona traffic accident

KINGMAN, Ariz. — A brother and sister died of injuries sustained in a head-on collision in Bullhead City on Thursday.

Bullhead City police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said Frances Lee Perry, 39, of Bullhead City was dead at the scene of the 3:30 p.m. accident in the 3600 block of Arizona Route 95, near the Mohave Crossroads Shopping Center.

Perry’s brother, Andrew Wayne Perry, 35, also of Bullhead City, died late Friday morning at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, according to Fromelt. He was a passenger in the Isuzu Rodeo that his sister was driving.

She said Andrew Perry’s girlfriend, Rachel Charlene Shepherd, 36, of Fort Mohave, was in critical condition at UMC.

Fromelt said a motorist called police to report an erratically driven Isuzu moments before the southbound vehicle crossed the center median and struck a northbound landscaping pickup that was towing a triple-axel trailer.

The pickup driver, Alan Barajas Valle, 23, of Bullhead City, was treated for minor injuries at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City.
