Uber to partner with Las Vegas dealership on ‘greenlight hub’

For the first time, Uber is partnering with a car dealership that will serve as a “greenlight hub,” where drivers for the ride-sharing service can get vehicle inspections, training and on-the-job support.

Uber’s deal with ABC Hyundai of Las Vegas is expected to be announced during a news conference scheduled for Monday morning at the dealership.

If successful, Uber officials said that they will seek similar partnership with car dealers across the country, ABC Hyundai spokeswoman Mackenzie Keller said.

Uber launched service in Las Vegas in September.
