Zab Judah to box Josh Torres on March 12

Former two-division boxing champion Zab Judah announced on Tuesday his latest comeback attempt.

Judah (42-9), a Las Vegas resident, is scheduled to fight Josh Torres (15-4-2) on March 12 at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center in the D Hotel after more than a two-year layoff.

The 10-round matchup will be contested at a catchweight of 143 pounds and televised on CBS Sports Network.

Judah, 38, has had three comeback fights cancelled in the past year, including a bout in November from the outdoor venue at the D Hotel. Judah last fought in December of 2013 in a lopsided loss to Paul Malignaggi.
