Sarcastic Tide fans love Tebow

As Florida quarterback Tim Tebow prepares to play his final home game at The Swamp today against rival Florida State, we thought it would be fitting to share some little-known "facts" about the much-heralded former Heisman Trophy winner.

The following information was included in a startling list compiled, surprisingly, by Tidefans.com under the heading "Tim Tebow is so awesome":

People with amnesia still remember Tim Tebow.

Tim Tebow hits blackjack with just one card.

The only reason you're still conscious is because Tim Tebow hasn't stiff-armed you in the face.

When Google can't find something, it asks Tim Tebow for help.

Tim Tebow gets called for roughing the tackler.

What color is Tim Tebow's blood? Trick question. Tim Tebow does not bleed.

MELONHEAD INVASION -- Green Bay Packers fans, known as Cheeseheads, have nothing on supporters of the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.

Saskatchewan fans have been wearing hollowed-out watermelons on their heads for years, and, with thousands of them descending on Calgary this week for their team's Grey Cup title game against Montreal, there is a huge demand for watermelons there.

"Calgary has taken all the watermelons available in Western Canada," David Karwacki, CEO of Canadian fruit and vegetable wholesaler Star Produce, told CBC News. "You just can't get them there quick enough."

While it's uncertain how the Melonheads craze began, some Saskatchewan employees said it started a few years ago, when a Roughriders TV commercial showed a man carving up a melon helmet.

OCHOCINCO SHOPPING SPREE -- Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco apparently loves shopping as much as he does attention.

On Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year, he posted a plethora of tweets, with accompanying photographs, including one of him decked out in a flashy outfit of sunglasses and a wearable blanket.

"Look at this Snuggie, only $5.00," the multimillionaire wrote.

A big spender, Ochocinco started the day with this tweet, "Wake up dammit!!! Am I the only one up on Black Friday?" and then wrote, "I'm in line at the dollar store. I'm (gonna) buy all this (stuff) on sale! ... Soap is a dollar, see my jail house posse."

He also traveled to Target and Best Buy, where he said he was "trying to get an application for the offseason."

Thankfully, he was buying and not selling.

ALL HIS SONS -- Before their relationship turned sour, Cleveland Browns coach Eric Mangini was so close to New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick that he named one of his sons after him.

While Mangini said he hasn't spoken to Belichick "in a long time," he does "appreciate the things he taught me and the opportunities he gave me."

Mangini named his middle son Jake Harrison Mangini after former Patriots safety Rodney Harrison and his youngest son Zack Brett Mangini after former Jets quarterback Brett Favre.
