Spring Valley rallies past Canyon Springs

Jasmine Wilson delivered a two-run triple in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday as Spring Valley's softball team rallied to defeat visiting Canyon Springs, 4-3.

Wilson was 2-for-3 with three RBIs for the Grizzlies. Megan Otruba added two hits and scored twice for Spring Valley.

Ryann Schleiker picked up the win, scattering four singles while striking out nine.

Bonanza 11, Valley 6 -- At Valley, the Bengals scored five runs in the top of the eighth inning to down the Vikings.

Valley's Lucelly Arias had an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings.

Sam Snyder went 3-for-4 with an RBI and scored twice for the Bengals.

Nicholette Corona was 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and three RBIs for the Vikings.

Green Valley 4, Centennial 1 -- At Centennial, Alicia Firelein tossed a five-hitter to lead the Gators past the Bulldogs.

Kayla Anderson was 2-for-4 with an RBI for Green Valley. Katherine Conti went 1-for-2 with a triple and scored two runs.

Johnna Brown hit a solo home run in the fourth inning for Centennial.

Las Vegas 5, Sierra Vista 3 -- At Las Vegas, Meagan McGaha went 2-for-3 with a double to help the Wildcats beat the Lions.

Hayli Rochell had a run-scoring double and scored twice for Las Vegas.

Jennifer Gliddon went the distance, striking out eight, to get the win for the Wildcats.

Durango 11, Eldorado 0 -- At Durango, Nicole Herrera pitched a five-inning shutout as the Trailblazers blanked Eldorado.

Herrera went 3-for-3 with a solo home run. Gabby King added a three-run homer for Durango in the fifth inning.

Clark 26, Chaparral 1 -- At Chaparral, the Chargers pounded out 31 hits in a rout of the Cowboys.

Clark scored double-digit runs in the second and third innings to back the pitching of Jordyn McDonald. McDonald allowed just a single from Kendy Reynoso while striking out 10.

Desert Pines 13, Western 3 -- At Western, Megan Robbins tossed a one-hitter and belted a solo home run in the second inning to lead the Jaguars to a five-inning victory.

Desert Pines had only three hits in the game and scored seven runs in the first inning.

Lake Mead 20, Indian Springs 0 -- At Indian Springs, the Eagles made the most of their five hits in a rout of the Thunderbirds.

Lynzee Freund tossed a two-hitter, striking out 10, to get the win.
