AROUND TOWN: Now enjoy Broadway Pizzeria in Summerlin

Here at the R-J, when we work late, management will splurge and get pizza. We make only one stipulation: It has to be Broadway Pizza, no lie.

The stuff has that gotta-love-it taste to it that marks it above the chain places. It’s got a great lunch special with two slices of cheese pizza.

Owners Anthony and Mario are hands-on kind of owners. They bus tables. They carry in product. And you can’t help but like a place that has all that New York City nostalgia on its walls.

Broadway Pizzeria recently opened a new location in Summerlin, 8125 W. Sahara Ave., Suite 170, for those who don't want to drive into the city for some of that New York pie. Broadway is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
