BMW loyalty managers pave way to high score

The Internet is somewhat like the Customer Service Index, a valuable rating system utilized by customers to rate car dealerships all across the country.

And Desert BMW of Las Vegas is scoring high marks at www.dealerrater.com thanks, in part, to a pair of loyalty managers at the dealership situated at 6900 W. Sahara Ave.

Named by the website were Michael Pyon and Jason Brewis, who have combined to help lead the dealership to a 4.6 score on a rating system with a top of five points.

Pyon, who moved to Las Vegas from Pueblo, Colo., is a seven-year veteran of the car business. He has risen quickly in the rating system capitalizing on several excellent reviews .

"I purchased a certified preowned 2008 BMW 550i Sport from Desert BMW," said Ohio resident Chris McMaster, who is a pilot who flew to the dealership to make the deal before the car was shipped back to Ohio. "I looked all over the country for my 550 Sport. I talked to many salesmen at both BMW dealerships (in Southern Nevada) and auto brokers. Michael Pyon stood out from every other salesman I spoke to or met with. The best way to describe his style is attentive. When I would call or email Michael with a question about the car that I eventually bought, he was always right there. He was never pushy, arrogant or too busy to take the time to listen to me.

"He was able to quickly read me as somewhat of an educated consumer and therefore realized he didn't have to 'sell' me the car. All he had to do was let the car sell itself."

Incline Village, Nev., resident Clifford Dunning said, "I began my quest for an X5d while deployed overseas with the Air Force. I initially worked with four different dealers and two overseas military sales folks. Desert BMW of Las Vegas and specifically Michael Pyon and Larry West, were the best hands-down. Brewis, a native of Michigan who has been in the car business for about three years, also earned his share of praise. Brewis is a graduate from the University of Toledo with a degree in law and social thought and a minor in psychology.

"All of the representatives made my most recent transaction as efficient as it could have been. The dealer personnel never expressed anything other than an extremely pleasant approach to all issues addressed by me.
