Community taking shape at Tuscany Residential Village

The golf course is complete, a 35,000 square foot recreation center is open and hundreds of homeowners have moved in to Tuscany Residential Village in Henderson. Rhodes Homes' newest master-planned community is quickly taking shape.

"We knew Tuscany would be something special when we opened the community and saw just how beautiful it was," said sales agent DeAnna Forsyth. "I have worked with Rhodes Homes for more than five years and personally seen how they can transform a big piece of desert land into a lush tropical development like Rhodes Ranch. We are experiencing it again here in Tuscany."

Forsyth represents Tuscany's Melani neighborhood, which is in its first phase of development. Melani features 2,663- to 4,876-square-foot homes, most with three-car garages, many of which are situated on the golf course.

"As soon as you enter the gates, you feel transformed to the countryside of Tuscany," Forsyth said. "The colors and stylings of the homes, in addition to the beautiful landscaping and amenities, all work together to create a community that represents the spirit of Tuscany. You won't find this anywhere else in Southern Nevada."

Five Tuscany neighborhoods are showcasing model homes ranging from 1,264 to 4,876 square feet.

Zanetti is a neighborhood of single-story homes ranging from 1,264 to 1,781 square feet. The homes of La Luna range from 1,724 to 3,431 square feet with eight floor plans offering three to five bedrooms and 21/2 to 41/2 baths.

Model homes at Pesaro opened to showcase the neighborhood of single-story residences in the heart of Tuscany. Floor plans at Pesaro range from 2,379 to 2,694 square feet and feature vaulted ceilings, island kitchen and garages.

Fiori is a three-story townhome neighborhood with floor plans ranging from 2,106 to 2,307 square feet. Many offer golf course and Strip views.

According to Forsyth, monthly fees at Tuscany are lower than those of other master-planned communities in Las Vegas.

"Residents receive access to Tuscany's recreation center, playgrounds, walking paths and common areas in addition to receiving 50 channels of cable television," she said.

Tuscany Residential Village is a master-planned community developed by longtime Las Vegas developer Rhodes Homes.

The centerpiece of the community is the Tuscany Golf Club, designed by renowned golf course architect Ted Robinson Jr. The 6,906-yard, par 72 course was recently named Golf Magazine's No. 1 Golf Course in Las Vegas in its annual BBQ (Bang for the Buck Quotient) rankings.

Tuscany's 35,000 square foot recreation center, La Vita Tuscana, includes a lap pool, lagoon pool, hot tubs, a full work-out facility, an aerobics room, indoor and outdoor basketball, racquetball, tennis, arts and crafts rooms, billiards, conference rooms, social areas, park areas and jungle gyms for children.

To visit the models in Tuscany Residential Village, take Lake Mead Drive past Boulder Highway to Mohawk Drive and turn left.
