D.R. Horton townhomes start in price at $79,900

D.R. Horton Homes of Las Vegas is offering its triplex townhomes in two Las Vegas Valley locations.

The triplex series includes two- and three-bedroom homes with attached garages and community amenities.

Locations include Hollywood Ranch and St. Rose Court.

Both have gated entries, swimming pools and family spaces.

Hollywood Ranch rests at the base of the Frenchman Mountains in Sunrise Manor, at Hollywood Boulevard and Vegas Valley. This area affords homeowners with sweeping city views,

Hollywood Ranch has six model homes that range from 1,071 to 1,617 square feet.

Priced at $79,900, model 1071 at Hollywood, First Light is a two-bedroom, two-bath home.

Two bedrooms surround a great room/dining room setup, with vaulted ceilings and an enclosed laundry room.

D.R. Horton sales agent Detra Miller said this setup makes a great "roommate pad" and is a "good alternative to paying rent."

Other home plans offer three bedrooms, two-car garages and private backyards.

To visit Hollywood Ranch, take Flamingo Road east to Cabana Drive. Turn left on Cabana and go to Vegas Valley Drive. Take a right on Vegas Valley and drive one mile past the entrance to Royal Links Golf Course to the Hollywood Ranch models.

The neighborhood is located near two golf courses, Nellis Air Force Base and Sam's Town casino.

This week, the homebuilder is offering release-end specials that include closing costs incentives and discounted pricing on homes in the neighborhoods.

"Clients who come to see our models this week are going to find special prices on selected home sites and deals that will make you take a second look," Miller, said. "If you are renting, you owe it to yourself to come out and let me show you how affordable ownership can be."

The townhomes at St. Rose Court start in price at $112,900.

This community is near the master plans of Silverado Ranch, Seven Hills and Green Valley in the southeast portion of the Las Vegas Valley.

Many shopping and dining venues are located on the Eastern Avenue corridor at St. Rose Parkway.

The neighborhood includes walking trails, sand volleyball court and pool.

With prices starting at less than $160,000, the builder's 1617 plan includes three bedrooms, 2½ baths, two-car attached garages and an option for a balcony. Some interior features may include granite countertops and GE appliance package.

St. Rose Court models are located at 10048 Aspen Rose Court.

To visit, take Eastern south from Silverado Ranch Boulevard to Ione Drive and follow signs.

Both communities have model complexes open daily. Models will be open this weekend from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
