Pete Mastrioni's family has a proud history of being chefs in Naples, Italy. At his own restaurant, he is making his family name proud. Featured appetizers include oven-roasted garlic cloves with extra-virgin olive oil, sautéed calamari, crab cocktail, mussels and clams sautéed in red or white seafood broth. Popular entrees are New York steak pizziola, chicken or veal Marsala, linguini scampi, shrimp Parmigiana, spaghetti with homemade meatballs, chicken or veal piccata, rigatoni bolognese and chicken Vesuvio with red peppers, artichoke hearts and red potatoes in white wine and lemon sauce. Fish dishes include salmon, swordfish, tuna, halibut and tilapia. The lunch menu has an extended salad selection (crab, grilled veggie, Caprese, citrus), along with sandwiches such as lobster roll, grilled salmon burger, chicken panini, sausage and peppers, and the Italian with salami, hot cappy, pepperoni, mozzarella, lettuce and tomato with balsamic reduction. The colorful dessert menu offers tiramisu, cheesecake, espresso pie, roasted banana gelato, spumoni ice cream pie and mixed berries with mascarpone cream. Dinner entrees begin at $16 and lunch sandwiches at $12. Mastrioni's is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, 4
