Thai food continues to grow in popularity, and it's no surprise Thai Style Noodle House has become one of the best in town. Soups are made with flat rice or small rice noodles, vermicelli or egg noodles and include beef ball, pork and fish ball, chicken, roasted duck, seafood wonton and chicken tom yum. Chef's specials are ginger snapper, hoi-tod (Thai pancake with green mussels), pineapple curry with shrimp, moo-tod (crispy pork chop with sweet chili sauce), three-flavor grilled salmon and ma kuer song kran, grilled eggplant with sautéed chopped prawns and chicken, onion and bell pepper in chili paste sauce. Popular rice plates are spicy basil leaf, Mongolian beef, garlic and pepper, tofu and mixed vegetables, and orange chicken. There are salads (papaya, squid, silver noodle) and appetizers such as shrimp rolls, beef or pork jerky, deep-fried calamari and crab Rangoon. Several desserts are fried banana with ice cream or honey, mango with sweet sticky rice and fried ice cream. The Thai iced tea is delicious. Chef's specials begin at $7.95 and noodle soups at $6.50.
