ESPN’s WSOP telecasts begin July 28

ESPN’s coverage of the 2009 World Series of Poker kicks off on July 28.

The programs will air every Tuesday and run through Nov. 10, hosted once
again by Lon McEachern and Norman Chad.

To cover the World Series of Poker, ESPN carted into the Rio some 28,000

57 individual events.

ESPN used 40 high-definition television cameras to capture the play.

ESPN plans to air 26 hours alone of coverage of the tournament’s main
event, the $10,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em world championship.

The World Series of Poker’s main event’s final table will be played Nov.
7-10 at the Rio and the coverage will be aired on Nov. 10.
