Henderson prepares to splash into pool season May 24

The city of Henderson has announced its summer pool hours and costs.
Seasonal pools are scheduled to be open May 24-26, May 31 and June 1 and then open fully for the summer season June 6.
Admission is $2 to $3 for the BMI Outdoor Swimming Pool, 105 W. Basic Road; the Silver Springs Outdoor Swimming Pool, 1951 Silver Springs Parkway; and the Wells Outdoor Swimming Pool, 1640 Price St.
Pool hours are scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Admission is $3 to $4 at seasonal activity pools: the Black Mountain Aquatic Complex, 599 Greenway Road; the Henderson Multigenerational Activity Pool, 250 S. Green Valley Parkway; and the Whitney Ranch Activity Pool, 1575 B Galleria Drive.
Open hours are scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Also during the year, the recreation centers offer various pool hours, which adjust during the summer.
The Henderson Multigenerational Center indoor pool is scheduled to be open 6 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The pool is closed Sunday.
The center’s competition pool is scheduled to be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission to both pools is $2 to $3.
The Whitney Ranch Recreation Center’s indoor pool, 1575 C Galleria Drive, is scheduled to be open 5 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The pool is closed Sunday. Admission is $2 to $3.
Admission to the Heritage Park Aquatic Complex, 310 S. Racetrack Road, is $2 to $3. Pool hours are scheduled from 6 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
