Interactive kiosk at Findlay Galleria mall location offers incentives

Sales Manager Ralph Lovell has been offering one-stop shopping at Findlay Automotive Group's 2,000-square-foot dealership inside the Galleria at Sunset mall since 1998. Representing 21 dealerships under one roof, Lovell's idea has mushroomed since the day it was unveiled.
However, 49-year-old Lovell took the idea to another level recently with the introduction of the Interactive Digital Coupon kiosk situated on the first floor of the mall situated in Henderson.
The kiosk offers a hands-on look at every dealership and the individual Web sites while also providing incentives or specials. Additionally, the inventory can be researched through a smart cellular phone.
The kiosk concept was conceived about a year ago. Lovell took the idea to Findlay Customs, which built the enclosure complete with a touch-screen kiosk provided by LeadNet LLC. The 7-foot tall LeadNet.mobi-brand kiosk can be seen from far away and instantly draws interest.
"With the interactive digital coupon set up, we can actually keep track to see how many people are responding," said Lovell. "This is a very genuine way to market and our stores will benefit greatly. If you mail out 10,000 fliers, you really don't have any idea how many people have seen your message. Because of that, many of the traditional fliers go into the trash and prove to be a big waste."
The LeadNet.mobi kiosk will be moved to various locations throughout the mall as times goes on. Lovell said it will be situated near vehicles that appear in the mall.
"We introduced the LeadNet.mobi kiosk on Thanksgiving weekend," said Lovell, who has been with Findlay Automotive Group for 15 years. "People are really looking at it and we will experience even more traffic as shopping continues during the holidays. Once people become familiar with it and discover that it offers yet another independent way of buying a car, it will become a way of life to many people."
Lovell said the applications also include the fact that shoppers can utilize the LeadNet.mobi kiosk seven days a week. Since the coupons are actually sent to a person's cell phone, the idea is a green concept since the traditional paper coupons have been replaced by the latest technology.
"The LeadNet.mobi kiosk provides coupons for discounts at the various dealerships while also offering a chance to review the Web sites of each store," explained Lovell, adding that the new innovation is another example of the car business keeping up with the times.
The LeadNet proprietary software is a user-friendly system with many features. The software provides the ability to create and upload different campaigns, such as qualified lead capturing, surveys and interactive digital signage, including SMS text messaging technology to provide information and/or digital coupons directly to customers while videos are being played.
"Our focus is helping our clients sell their products and services more effectively," says Jay Matos, LeadNet founder and CEO. "We're excited about how our product is enhancing the customer's experience"
The system is the first of its kind, according to Lovell. With text messaging capabilities keeping customers informed on a constant basis, everything from incentives to new models and inventory is a fingertip away from automotive information.
"This is awesome," he said. "All of our general managers rave about the idea and each of them provided the commercial footage for their representation."
The unique location also features the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame which was founded several years ago. The displays include various top athletes and supporters of local events. The first inductee was David Humm, a standout quarterback who played at Bishop Gorman High School before going on to star with the University of Nebraska and the Oakland Raiders.
Dealerships represented in the mall location include Toyota, Cadillac, Honda, Chevrolet, Saturn, Volkswagen, Lincoln Mercury, Hyundai, Subaru, GMC, Land Rover, Acura, Audi and Kia.
