Las Vegas-based circus performers injured in ‘Globe of Death’ stunt

Two Las Vegas-based motorcyclists were injured when they and a third rider collided in a so-called “Globe of Death” circus stunt in Washington.

While there was no official update on the condition of the motorcyclists, a Facebook post from the Jordan World Circus stated one rider had a broken leg and another had a broken rib, but will be OK.

The crash occurred during a performance near Tacoma, Wash., according to NBC News. In the Globe of Death stunt, motorcyclists ride inside a giant steel sphere, sometimes with a suspended acrobat in the center.

Jordan World Circus is owned by Las Vegan Jody Jordan.
