Lyon Estates offer comfortable luxury in plans

Homebuilding truly is an art — when it’s done right. When the impact upon entering your home embraces all your senses, when you “feel” it rather than just “see” it — that’s when it’s more than just four walls and a roof. That’s when it’s “home.”

The Silver Nugget 2014 Community of the Year award-winning plans at Lyon Estates feature four single-story plans of comfortable luxury ranging from 3,561 to 4,440 square feet and from four to six bedrooms.

Your family’s daily life, casual neighborhood get-togethers and elegant entertaining events are all wrapped up in these artfully built homes.

“Even though I walk through these homes every day, they never cease to amaze me,” Lyons Estates sales representative Charlotte Bell says. “The (attention) to virtually every detail is really more than you can absorb in a single viewing. The beauty of these homes is unquestionable, but each time I look at them, I notice even more. Touches of what I call considerate functionality make each plan more appealing every visit.”

Lyon Estates bear the name of the company’s founder, and perfecting the balance of form and function has always been the aim for residential design for the team at William Lyon Homes.

Plan 1 greets visitors with a comfortable, extravagant courtyard. Room spaces are clearly dedicated, yet also cohesively connected, providing a flow that is logical and aesthetically appealing.

The interior spaciousness is mirrored by the expansive exterior views and further reflected in the living, sleeping and cooking areas.

Plan 4 is the next model on this tour. A courtyard is again a prelude to features within. An entertainment bar is showcased, surrounded by windowed views and enhanced with layers of natural wood and stone interior accents. The residence culminates in a master suite of rooms.

Plan 3 is highlighted by an interior courtyard, around which is living space of light, volume and definition. Showcasing a multigeneration suite with its own separate living room, luxurious master suite, formal dining and butler’s pantry, it also features multiple access points to the courtyard, creating flexible traffic patterns for the residents.

Plan 2 is the final stop at Lyon Estates, with a gated exterior entry. On entering, the wall of windows opening onto the covered terrace adds to the expansive feel of the living and dining areas, while scaled vestibules announce your passage to each wing of this home.

From the entry, your line-of-sight gives glimpses into adjoining kitchen and family spaces that unveil a separate, casual living space.

Multiple lifestyle configurations are available throughout the homes at Lyon Estates, from dens and fourth-car garages, to multigeneration suites, covered loggias and terraces.

A sample of standard features includes three-car garages, entries and doorways throughout, granite countertops, two-tone interior paint selections and more. Customizing opportunities are available from floor to ceiling, allowing you to personalize your space nearly 360 degrees.

To reach Lyon Estates, take U.S. Highway 95 north to Buffalo Drive, head north to Grand Teton and turn right, then travel just past Rainbow Boulevard.

The information center is open daily. Visit www.lyonhomes or call 702-476-6119 for details.
