Team Ford Lincoln celebrates 11th anniversary in Las Vegas

May was a month of celebration at Team Ford Lincoln. The dealership recently gathered hundreds of employees to celebrate its 11th anniversary in Las Vegas.

"Team Ford Lincoln is a local corporation, and over the last 11 years we've been very involved in the community," said Al McDonald, general manager, who has worked at the dealership since it opened in 2000. "Our philosophy is to do right by our employees and customers … We treat everyone like they are our next-door neighbors."

The dealership is community minded and supports Nellis Air Force Base organizations, off-road associations and various charitable groups. Team Ford Lincoln recently helped Centennial High School by sponsoring a test-drive event that raised several thousand dollars for the school.

Team Ford Lincoln became a licensed Lincoln dealership in March 2010 and, according to McDonald, the partnership has reinvigorated all areas of the company.

"Earlier this year, J.D. Power (and Assiciates) named Lincoln the 'most dependable nameplate' among all brands -- foreign and domestic -- in its long-term dependability study," said McDonald. "We are proud to be associated with such a well-respected brand of vehicles, in addition to our top-selling brand, Ford."

Recent improvements at Team Ford Lincoln, coinciding with its Lincoln partnership, include a new upscale showroom designed by architects who worked for such luxury brands as Neiman Marcus.

"From beautiful dark-wood pieces to a waiting room that is twice the size of the original with upscale seating, our showroom conveys to our customers just how important they are to us," said McDonald. "It is all part of an effort to provide a better facility for our customers."

Another customer improvement is scheduled to open this fall. The dealership is building an eight-bay quick lane facility to provide quick-service oil changes, brake service and battery service to all makes and models of vehicles. "Our new showroom and quick-service facility are just two of many things we do to make sure customers have a good experience and are treated like they are family," said McDonald. "Team strives to become a progressive dealership and credits its success with hiring good people."

One of those people is Sales Manager Rhonda Wright. She started working in the customer-satisfaction department, was promoted to customer-car deliveries, then to sales associate and now sales manager.

"Rhonda is a true team player and really embodies our philosophy of treating every customer like they are our next-door neighbor," said McDonald.

Chris Goeschel, general sales manager, agrees.

"We have a completely different way of doing business at Team Ford Lincoln, and it shows in all areas of the business," he said. "From the first person you meet when you walk in the door, we want you to feel comfortable and at home. No matter how many dealerships you visit looking for your next car, we want your experience at Team Ford Lincoln to be the best."

Team Ford Lincoln is located east of U.S. Highway 95 and Ann Road at 5445 Drexel Road. For more information, go to http://teamford.com, call 395-5100 or call toll-free at 800-277-6191.
